Alaska Legal Services Landlord/Tenant Legal Help Line

ALSC offers a Landlord/Tenant Legal Helpline to provide free assistance to both tenants and landlords with legal questions and situations. Staffed by volunteer attorneys, this Landlord/Tenant Helpline is open to receive calls on Monday-Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The number to call in the Anchorage area is 907-743-1000. For outside of the Anchorage area, you can call the toll-free number at 855-743-1001

Heating Assistance Program

The Heating Assistance Program (HAP) is designed to promote the general welfare and safeguard the health and well-being of Alaska's population by offsetting the cost of home heating for eligible Alaskan residents. (907) 465-3058

Northwind Apartments

The Nortwind Apartments consists of 3, eight unit buildings with a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments. Rent is based on the income eligibility requirements set by the Dept of Housing and Urban Development. All utilities are included in the rent. You do NOT need a current Section 8 voucher.

“Healthy Food Healthy Families” program.
This directly benefits up to 20 local families in Petersburg who are needing assistance bringing healthy food to the table. Families who are in need of receiving benefits of this program are encouraged to email, aid will depend on amount donated.

Free Menstrual Products

Menstrual products ordered or picked up from WAVE. Limited reusable products available.

Free/Reduced Lunch Program
